This is by far one of the most demanding and high effort film projects I've worked on, but it was entirely worth it. I had the privilege to work with these amazing people (Jermaine Yee, Joel Gasu, Serena Quagliarelli, Ikenna Nwaogu, Stefania Bernasconi), who definitely are one of the most committed, talented and passionate dancers I know. It's my first time directing and producing a dance-concept/music video and I had lots of fun working on it, seeing it come to live from scratch -choreographing and storyboarding to location scouting and video shooting.
And dang do I have one of the coolest university campuses ever, with the video shoot almost entirely done at ETH Hönggerberg. Not to mention, how lucky and blessed were we to see a full on double rainbow. Sadly by the the time I filmed it, it became a single rainbow. "Over some baileys and ice cream one day, we were talking about the things that drive us both, like film-making/dance . And also other random things like love, how hard it can be sometimes and how we are all so inept at it. The idea for this video then happened spontaneously with a mashup of bits of dancing, the beautiful Zürich landscape, raw emotions and a reminder that it's okay it's this hard, we're all learning to love and by far it is the one thing we do best. We all just need to hang in there, because believe it or not, things will work out for the best."
